Safer Internet Day

Safer Internet Day

Tuesday 9th February

On Tuesday 9th February it is Safer Internet Day.

Safer Internet Day is an event, organised by the UK Safer Internet Centre, which aims to promote safe, responsible and positive use of internet technology.

This year in the UK, Safer Internet Day explores reliability online. The internet has an amazing range of information and opportunities online, but how do we separate fact from fiction?

Safer Internet Day will be celebrated globally with the slogan: Together for a better internet.

For our children, who are still very young, our concern is also equipping our children to be able to use the internet safely in our ever changing and evolving digital world. Many children are already savvy at using digital devices and so it is important that they are supported and know how to do so safely.
