Children’s Mental Health Week 2023 6-12 February 2023
At Park Hall Infant Academy we are supporting Place2Be's Mental Health Week 2023. The theme of this year's Children’s Mental Health Week is Let's Connect.
'Let’s Connect is about making meaningful connections. People thrive in communities, and this connection is vital for our wellbeing. When we have healthy connections – to family, friends and others – this can support our mental health and our sense of wellbeing.
For Children’s Mental Health Week 2023, we encouraged people to connect with others in healthy, rewarding and meaningful ways' (Place2Be's Children's Mental Health Week).
The children carried out activities to explore different connections, such as creating a puzzle piece celebrating what they care about and what they feel connected to.
Around five children in every classroom have a mental health problems and many more struggle with challenges from bullying to bereavement. Whether you’re someone who works with children, a parent or carer, passionate about spreading the word, or keen to raise vital funds for Place2Be, you can get involved and help us reach as many people as possible.
