Purple Mash is holding another competition. This time it is using 2Animate.

'We love seeing how creative you can be with the tools in Purple Mash and we know that one of our favourite tools is 2Animate.

So we thought we would hold a competition to showcase all of your creativity. We would like you to create a short animation between 30 seconds – 1 minute to explain a concept in Science, a time in History or a place/feature in Geography.'

The closing date for all entries is 5pm on 6th April 2023. The winner and runners up will be contacted through their school.

• The competition is aimed at children between the ages of 5 to 11.

• Each child can submit one entry to the competition.

• There is an Under 7s, Under 9s and Under 12s category. Children who turn 7 before 1st September 2023 should enter the under 7s.

• Children enter their work by submitting it to the ‘2Animate Competition’ Display Board for their age group.

• They can save and edit their work as often as they like before submitting it – it should only be submitted once it is completely finished.

Prizes

Winning schools will receive a £200 voucher towards a 2Simple product of their choice, and a collection of DK Learning books for the school library.

Winning pupils will receive a £20 Amazon voucher, and a 2Simple Goody bag. All winning animations and runners up will also be hosted within Purple Mash for other schools to use and see.

Staying safe online

The competition Display Boards will be visible to the public, so it’s important not to include personal information in your entries. Any entries that include personal information will not be accepted or displayed on the board. The only information visible on the board will be the school name.
