Lunchtime Support - Casual

Are you interested in supporting children's play and keeping children safe and well, whilst working within our well-established team?

We have a casual vacancy for a Lunchtime Supervisor   

Hours: Monday – Friday from 11.30am until 1.30pm (2 hours per day) (10 hours per week) 

Rate of Pay: £12.65 per hour

Term time only 38 weeks per year (as needed)

Based at Park Hall Infant Academy

The successful candidate will:

• Understand Safeguarding and how to report any concerns appropriately

• Be a positive role model for children by treating them with respect and acting fairly but assertively in implementing the school’s policies

• Actively engage with children during lunch/play time

• Have the ability to remain calm and fair whilst upholding the school’s policies

• Relate well with children of all ages

• Previous experience as a lunchtime supervisor or experience of working with children on a regular basis is desired but not essential

• Assist and support children in the school hall; encouraging the use of good manners and social skills and ensuring a clean and safe environment

• Be able to work under the direction of the Principal Lunchtime Supervisor as part of a team and adapt to changing circumstances.
