Spring 2: Where Do I Live?

Our Work

First we looked at plans and aerial views. We made a giant classroom plan.

Then we made our own plan of the classroom we learn in.

Next we made a simple plan of our school and followed a route using our plans

We looked at maps and thought about our local area.

We went on a local walk and mapped our route

We had lots of fun on our walk of the local area

We spotted different features

Then we thought about the town our local area is in and its features

Then we sorted the features into physical and human

Our local area has a lake and a canal so we learnt about water

We learnt about the differences between rives and canals

The Canal and River Trust gave us a safety talk and we made water safety posters!
