At Park Hall Infant Academy, we recognise the vital role that physical education and physical activity play in supporting children’s physical development, wellbeing and readiness for learning.
The PE and Sport Premium is government funding provided to primary schools to improve the quality of PE and sport, increase participation in physical activity and encourage healthy, active lifestyles.
We use our PE and Sport Premium funding to:
Enhance the quality of PE teaching and learning across the academy
Provide training and professional development for staff
Develop children’s fundamental movement skills, coordination and confidence
Increase opportunities for physical activity throughout the school day
Promote positive attitudes towards physical activity from an early age
Our aim is to ensure that all children at Park Hall Infant Academy enjoy being active and develop the skills and confidence they need to lead healthy, active lives, both now and in the future.
Details of how the PE and Sport Premium funding is spent, and the impact it has on our children, can be found below.
