Welcome to Year 1
Welcome to Year 1, an important transition year as children move from the Early Years into Key Stage 1. We ensure this change is gradual and supportive, maintaining familiar routines while introducing more formal learning.
In Year 1, children develop their skills in reading, writing, and maths through engaging lessons and practical activities. We encourage independence, resilience, and curiosity, helping children become confident learners. Our curriculum is broad and balanced, offering opportunities for creativity, exploration, and personal growth.
