    Pastoral and Safety Information

At Park Hall Infant Academy, our motto Education for Life underpins everything we do. We believe that children learn best when they feel safe, happy, and supported, and we are committed to providing a nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

    Pastoral Care

Our pastoral provision supports children’s emotional, social, and mental wellbeing. Staff work closely with children and families to ensure children feel listened to, valued, and cared for. We encourage positive relationships, kindness, and resilience, helping children develop the life skills they need both in and beyond school.

    Safeguarding and Child Protection

Safeguarding is a priority at Park Hall Infant Academy. All staff receive regular training and follow clear safeguarding and child protection procedures in line with statutory guidance. Any concerns about a child’s wellbeing or safety are taken seriously and acted upon promptly.

The Designated Safeguarding leads (DSL) for Park Hall Infant Academy are:

Mrs S Hand (DSL)                                                                Mrs G Healy (DDSL)
Designated Safeguarding Lead                                         Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead

If you need to talk to anyone about a problem you have, or a concern about someone you know, then you can talk to one of the Designated Safeguarding Leads or any adult within the school.

    Health and Safety

We maintain high standards of health and safety across the school. Risk assessments are regularly reviewed, and children are taught how to keep themselves and others safe through daily routines, assemblies, and the curriculum.

    Online Safety

Online safety is an important part of our curriculum. Children are taught how to use technology safely and responsibly, and we work in partnership with parents and carers to support safe online behaviour at home.

    Working in Partnership with Families

We value strong relationships with parents and carers. If you have any concerns about your child’s wellbeing or safety, we encourage you to speak to a member of staff so we can work together to provide the best possible support.
