Welcome to Reception

Welcome to Reception, an exciting year where children continue to grow in confidence and independence. Building on the foundations laid in Nursery, Reception combines purposeful play with more structured learning to support children’s development across all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Our Reception classrooms are vibrant, engaging spaces where children are encouraged to explore, ask questions, and develop a love of learning. We work hard to support children emotionally and socially, while also developing early reading, writing, and mathematical skills. Strong partnerships with parents are at the heart of everything we do.
